History
The Sarasota Bradenton International Convention Center was established in 2003 to satisfy the area’s need to host large events. With 93,000 square feet of expo space, SBICC is the only climate-controlled facility between Tampa and Miami capable of accommodating 5,000 people.
SBICC also features a 3,000 square foot kitchen, 750 parking spaces, and 4,600 square feet of meeting rooms. A full-service, upscale “green” Holiday Inn is located on-site, and more than 3,000 hotel rooms are within two miles.
The Center is immediately behind the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), and less than an hour drive from the Tampa International Airport (TPA)
SBICC is privately owned and operated, area labor is inexpensive and ours is a non-union facility. These important features make SBICC the best value for your expo/convention dollar.
